2.) Men Die From Lack Of Knowledge And Mistakes!

MEN DIE FROM LACK OF KNOWLEDGE



But if they foolishly refuse, they will be rewarded with a violent death. 


But if they do not obey, they will cross the river of death and die without knowledge. 


But if they refuse to listen, they pass over the river of death, and expire without knowledge. 


But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.

SOME OF YOU MAY RECOGNIZE THOSE SENTENCES AS SCRIPTURE FROM DIFFERENT TYPES OF BIBLES. THE BASIC POINT IS THE SAME THROUGHOUT. THAT IS, IF A PERSON DOESN'T KNOW SOMETHING, IT COULD LEAD TO THEIR DEATH. CADS PROGRAM MANAGER HAS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF HUNDREDS WHO DIDN'T KNOW AND/OR WAS INTENTIONALLY NOT INFORMED OF SOME BASIC FACTS ABOUT THEIR TREATMENT AND THUS, WERE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF.

THINK ABOUT IT, IS IT NOT STRANGE THAT ALTHOUGH LEAH HAS BEEN THE MANAGER AT CADS ON 11TH ST FOR SEVERAL YEARS, PROCESSING HUNDREDS OF CLIENTS, YET NO COMPLAINTS OR GRIEVANCES HAVE MOVED BEYOND HER DESK?  I KNOW SOME OF THE CLIENTS WHO HAD LEGITIMATE COMPLAINTS, YET WERE FORCED OUT AND LATER DIED WITHIN 3 YEARS. ONE DIED WITHIN 3 MONTHS OF THEIR DEPARTURE. YET, ANOTHER DID NOT MAKE IT ONE FULL MONTH

 DID IGNORANCE KILL THEM OR DID LEAH TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM BY NOT ADHERING TO ALL THE RULES AND REGULATIONS? I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT CADS' OWN RULES AND GUIDELINES HAVE BEEN BROKEN OR IGNORED BY THIS PROGRAM DIRECTOR? AT A MINIMUM, IN MY CASE I KNOW SHE HAS VIOLATED SEVERAL RULES . LET'S START WITH THE BASIC "CLIENTS RIGHTS; CADS' DIRECTIVE NUMBER 4040.

ITEM #8. STATES: THE CLIENT HAS THE RIGHT TO HAVE ACCESS TO INFORMATION PERTAINING TO YOUR TREATMENT IN SUFFICIENT TIME TO FACILITATE YOUR DECISION MAKING. 

ON FEBRUARY 28TH 2019, I WAS GIVEN A "MEMO" ADVISING ME THAT I WAS IMMEDIATELY BEING PUT ON ADMINISTRATIVE WITHDRAWAL  (INVOLUNTARY TAPER) . I RECEIVED NO PRIOR NOTICE. I DID NOT HAVE REPEATED CONSULTATIONS WITH MY COUNSELOR ON THE ALLEGATIONS. THE CLINIC'S DOCTOR WAS NOT IN REGULAR ATTENDANCE AT THE CENTER. IT WAS SAID HE WAS ILL. MOST ISSUES THAT NEEDED THE DOCTOR'S CARE WERE SUSPENDED. HE WASN'T THERE SO THE CLINIC HAD TO SHUT DOWN SOME OF THEIR NORMAL BUSINESS. SO IT SEEMS UNLIKELY THAT HE WAS AS INVOLVED IN THE PROCESS OF MY ADMINISTRATIVE WITHDRAWAL AS REQUIRED IN THE OUTLINED IN PATIENTS RIGHTS AND THE GUIDELINES ON THE ISSUANCE OF ADMINISTRATIVE WITHDRAWALS.

ON ONE DOCUMENT ALONE; "CLIENTS RIGHTS", I CAN SAFELY SAY LEAH HAS VIOLATED AT LEAST 8 ITEMS. THAT'S ONLY THE BEGINNING. IN THE FOLLOWING PAGES I WILL SHOW THAT I CAN SAFELY SAY LEAH HAS WILLFULLY VIOLATED A MINIMUM OF 30 OF MY RIGHTS AND/OR GOVERNMENT RULES/REGULATIONS.

HER NEGLIGENCE AND OVER REACH OF POWER HAS COST ME MENTAL AND PHYSICAL PAIN AND NEARLY COST ME MY LIFE. NOT TO MENTION THE DAILY STRESS AND ANXIETY I AM PRESENTLY EXPERIENCE BECAUSE OF HER SYSTEMATIC ABUSE OF POWER. IT IS MY WISH THAT I FULLY RECOVER FROM HER ONSLAUGHT OF UNJUSTIFIED DECISIONS THAT CONTINUES TO  HAVE SERIOUS AFFECTS ON MY WELL-BEING.


ONE OF MANY ISSUES THAT HAVE OCCURRED OVER A 6 MONTH PERIOD STARTED ON MARCH 8TH 2019. I WAS CALLED AND INFORMED THAT I WAS SCHEDULED TO GIVE A URINE SAMPLE THAT MORNING. CADS GUIDELINES FOR PROVIDING URINE SPECIMENS STATES:

"LIFE DOES INTERFERE WITH THE BEST OF PLANS SOMETIMES. IF YOU NEED TO MAKE A ONE-TIME EXCEPTION TO THE GUIDELINES, PLEASE, DISCUSS THIS WITH YOUR COUNSELOR OR THE PROGRAM MANAGER. "


THAT SAME MORNING OF MARCH 8TH 2019, EARLY IN THE MORNING I CALLED MY COUNSELOR, WHO I HAD ONLY SEEN ONE TIME PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT, AND THE PROGRAM MANAGER, LEAH MORRIS, AT LEAST 4 TIMES EACH. I CALLED THE PROGRAM MANAGER'S LISTED OFFICE NUMBER AND LEFT MESSAGES AND CALLED HER AT THE CADS FAIRMOUNT LOCATION. I EVEN LEFT A MESSAGE FOR HER AT THAT LOCATION BECAUSE I WAS TOLD BY THE DESK CLERK THAT SHE WAS IN A MEETING  AND WAS DUE TO COME OUT SHORTLY. I TOLD THE CLERK WHAT I WAS REQUESTING AND ASKED HER TO PLEASE INCLUDE THAT INFORMATION (MY REQUEST) IN HER NOTE TO LEAH. I ALSO ASKED THE CLERK TO INCLUDE MY PHONE NUMBER AND REQUESTED THAT LEAH AND/OR MY COUNSELOR TO GIVE ME A RETURN CALL. NEITHER OF THEM RETURNED MY CALL THAT DAY OR THAT NIGHT. I WAS REQUESTING THAT I GIVE MY DROP THE NEXT DAY SINCE I HAD PRIOR ENGAGEMENTS/OBLIGATIONS THAT MORNING. I ALSO DROVE TO THE CENTER IN ROCK ISLAND TO SEE IF I COULD SPEAK WITH SOMEONE AND/OR GIVE A URINE SPECIMEN AT THAT TIME. I WAS TOLD  BY THE FRONT DESK CLERK THAT I COULD NOT GIVE A SPECIMEN PAST 9:45 AM. THAT'S THE TIME THE DOSING WINDOW CLOSES. 


CONSEQUENTLY I ASSUMED THAT MY COUNSELOR AND THE PROGRAM MANAGER SIMPLY BLEW ME OFF. BUT I HAD ONE MORE HOPE  THAT THEY MIGHT STILL CALL LATER THAT NIGHT. THERE IS ANOTHER CADS RULE THAT SAYS ALL CLIENTS WHO ARE REQUESTED TO GIVE A URINE SAMPLE ON SATURDAY MORNINGS WILL BE CALLED THE NIGHT BEFORE. AND, UPON RECEIVING THIS CALL THEY WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE AT THE CLINIC 1/2 HOUR BEFORE CLOSING. ON SATURDAYS THE CLINIC CLOSES AT 8:30 AM. EASY MATH SAYS THE CLIENT MUST THEREFORE BE AT THE CLINIC BEFORE 8 AM TO GIVE THEIR URINE DROP.                                             THIS NOTE IS POSTED ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE DOOR LEADING TO THE DOSING AREA WHERE URINE SAMPLES ARE ALSO GIVEN. Notice the line that addresses UAs. It says "if a client is called for a Saturday UA they will have to be in the door by 8AM!

  NEVERTHELESS, I DID NOT RECEIVE A CALL THAT NIGHT, FRIDAY MARCH 8TH, 2019, FROM EITHER OF THEM.


HOWEVER, THE NEXT MORNING WHEN I ARRIVED AT THE CLINIC I WAS GIVEN A MEMO BY THE MED CLERK WHO WAS MONITORING THE DOOR. I GENERALLY ARRIVE AT THE CLINIC A LITTLE BEFORE CLOSING TIME. HOWEVER, SINCE THE DOSING WINDOW CLOSES EARLIER ON SATURDAYS, 8:30AM, I HAD TO ADJUST MY ROUTINE TO ARRIVE ON TIME. ADDITIONALLY, I TAKE A HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICATION THAT FORCES ME TO URINATE MORE THAN NORMAL. AND WHEN ITS READY TO COME OUT IT'S THE BOSS. IT CREATES AN URGE THAT DEMANDS ATTENTION. SO THAT SATURDAY MORNING, THE 9TH OF MARCH, 2019 AROUND 8:AM I FELT AN URGE COMING ON. I WAS ABOUT ONE MILE FROM THE CENTER SO I DECIDED TO STOP AT A McDONALDS ON 31ST AVENUE AND 11TH ST IN ROCK ISLAND, TO USE THEIR RESTROOM. THE CENTER IS ON THE SAME STREET BUT ON 44TH AVENUE. BY THE TIME I TOOK CARE OF MY BUSINESS AND DROVE TO THE CLINIC, IT WAS GETTING NEAR CLOSING TIME. AFTER I ENTERED AND WAS GIVEN THE NOTE I READ IT. IT SAID "CAREY MUST GIVE A URINE SAMPLE BEFORE HE CAN DOSE THIS MORNING." IT ALSO SAID I COULD NOT EVEN RECEIVE MY SUNDAY TAKE HOME DOSE BEFORE I GAVE A SPECIMEN. OH MY GOODNESS. WHO DROPPED THIS BALL? WAS IT A SET-UP OR DID SOMEONE HAPHAZARDLY PUT THIS REQUEST INTO ACTION?

NATURALLY I HAD TO WAIT A LITTLE BEFORE I COULD OBTAIN ANOTHER URGE TO GO TO THE RESTROOM SINCE I JUST RELIEVED MYSELF 2 MINUTES EARLIER (I just pee-peed at McDonalds). AFTER THE COUNSELOR FINISHED WITH ALL THE CLIENTS, I EVENTUALLY GAVE HIM THE URINE SAMPLE BUT THE DOSING WINDOW HAD CLOSED, IT WAS ABOUT 8:35AM. OH MY GOODNESS, IF ONLY LEAH OR MY COUNSELOR WOULD SIMPLY ADHERED TO THEIR OWN GUIDELINES AND CALLED ME THE NIGHT BEFORE, I WOULD HAVE ARRIVED BEFORE 8AM TO GIVE MY SPECIMEN. HECK, I WOULD HAVE ARRIVED AT 6 IN THE MORNING TO DROP AND GET MY MEDICATION, I FOLLOW RULES. NEVERTHELESS, THE NOTE DID SAY I HAD TO GIVE A SPECIMEN "BEFORE" I COULD RECEIVE BOTH DOSES. THE COUNSELOR DID TAKE MY SPECIMEN BUT I STILL WAS DENIED BOTH DOSES! SOMETHING IS WRONG.

AS UNBELIEVABLE AND DISHEARTENING AS THAT CHAIN OF EVENT WAS (THE DENIAL OF MY 2 MEDICATIONS) THE CHAIN OF EVENTS THAT FOLLOWS (THE UPCOMING MONDAY MARCH 11TH, 2019) ARE THE DAYS I WILL NEVER FORGET FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. I AM CALLING THAT MONDAY, THE DAY I WAS ALL BURNED UP.

BEFORE I LEFT THE CLINIC THAT MORNING MARCH 10TH 2019 , AFTER BEING DENIED 2 DOSES OF MY MEDICATION, THE NURSE, VIRGINA, WHO I HAVE KNOWN FOR AT LEAST 20 YEARS, CALLED ME OVER TO HER WINDOW AT THE NURSES STATION. SHE FILLS IN AT THE CLINIC WHEN NEEDED, INCLUDING SATURDAYS. SHE TOLD ME TO BEWARE THAT 'THEY" MAY DENY ME MY MEDICATION ON MONDAY MORNING MARCH 11TH. WHAT!? HOW COULD THAT BE!?

I WENT HOME AND IMMEDIATELY STARTED MAKING PHONE CALLS AND WRITING LETTERS TO THE PROGRAM MANAGER, LEAH MORRIS AND MY COUNSELOR.

 ON THAT MONDAY MARCH 11TH, I ALSO SENT LEAH A CERTIFIED LETTER TO MAKE SURE SHE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT WAS GOING ON AND THAT I WAS DOCUMENTING ALL OF MY TROUBLES.
                                                                     
I HAVE MY RECEIPT AND THE DATE IT WAS SENT, MARCH 11TH 2019

THAT DAY, MONDAY, MARCH 11TH, 2019, WAS THE BEGINNING OF THE MOST GRUELING WEEK OF MY LIFE... I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE. I'M SURE YOU'VE HEARD OF THE SONG "STORMY MONDAY" WITH THE CLASSIC LYRICS "CALL IT STORMY MONDAY BUT TUESDAY IS JUST AS BAD." WELL, MY SITUATION WAS LIFE IMITATING ART AND I'LL CALL MY STORMY MONDAY "ALL BURNED UP MONDAY." AND, MY TUESDAY WAS NOT JUST AS BAD, IT WAS WORSE.
